On June 16, Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Liao Jiasheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, held high-level talks in Beijing. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on strengthening practical cooperation in key areas including ecological environmental protection, energy conservation and carbon reduction, zero-carbon industrial construction, new energy business synergy, and overseas market expansion.
During the meeting, both leaders introduced the development status and business layout of their respective groups. Shandong Heavy Industry Group, as the parent company of SINOTRUK, SHACMAN and other leading Chinese heavy truck brands, has built a complete industrial chain covering commercial vehicles, construction machinery and power systems, with strong advantages in new energy heavy trucks, low-carbon logistics equipment and overseas market operation. China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, as a central enterprise focusing on green development, has rich experience in ecological restoration, energy-saving and carbon reduction projects, and zero-carbon industrial park construction.
The two sides reached a broad consensus on multi-field practical cooperation. They will focus on exploring cooperation opportunities in:
- Joint development of new energy and low-carbon heavy truck solutions for green logistics and zero-carbon industrial scenarios
- Construction of zero-carbon demonstration factories and energy-saving transformation projects in heavy truck manufacturing bases
- Synergistic promotion of overseas market expansion, especially in energy and infrastructure projects along the Belt and Road
- Application of energy-saving and environmental protection technologies in heavy truck production and after-sales service links
Both parties expressed their intention to further deepen business exchanges and cooperation, strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly promote green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in the heavy truck and environmental protection industries.
Hu Haihua, Member of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry, and Zhao Youmin, Secretary of the Board of Directors of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, also participated in the talks.
